Paperwork.Design
Designer. Import, edit visually or in code, then publish.
The Designer is where Paperwork templates are made. A template is HTML and CSS for the layout, JSON for the data, and a set of fields for the values that change each time. The Designer lets you build one visually, edit its source directly, preview the document as you go, and publish it so that people, scripts and other products can use it.

The workflow
- Create or import a template: start blank, bring in a Word document, paste content, or start from a Blueprint.
- Edit it: design visually or in code, add fields, data and assets, and watch the preview.
- Publish and share it: publicly, just for you, or privately to a collection, then embed it or generate from it with the CLI.
Accounts and licences
You can look around and open published templates without an account. Creating your own templates needs you to sign in with a writer account, and publishing one just for yourself needs an editor licence.
The template language
Everything you write in a template uses the same HTML, CSS and expression language as the other products. It is documented in Paperwork.Reference.
